Gerard was a member of the Southwestern University Law School law review. After graduating he became a named partner of Aprahamian & Friend where he specialized in representing special needs children who were victims of medical negligence.
Gerard specialized in litigating birth brain-injury children in lawsuits against doctors and hospitals that practiced below the standard of care.
Over the years, Gerard's efforts provided special needs trust for hundreds of children who now have the financial support to last the remainder of their lives.
Gerard dissolved his partnership in 2008 and since that time has practiced as a sole practitioner, helping people from all sectors of society who need assistance.
